❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Ibiza's club season runs from late May through early October. Opening parties happen in late May/early June, and closing parties in late September/early October. Peak season is July and August, when all the major residencies are running and the island is at its busiest. Many DJs also play special New Year's Eve events on the island.
Tickets for Las Vegas nightclub residencies can be purchased through each venue's official website (Zouk, XS, Hakkasan, Omnia). General admission typically ranges from $30–$75 for men and is often free or reduced for women before a certain time. VIP table reservations start at $500–$1,000+ depending on the DJ and night. Third-party sites like Discotech and ClubBarOne also offer guest list and ticket options.
It depends on your taste. Hí Ibiza has won DJ Mag's #1 Club award three years running and features the biggest names. DC-10 is the underground pick — raw, no frills, music-first (especially Circoloco Mondays). Pacha is the classic Ibiza experience with cherry-branded glamour. Amnesia has the legendary Terrace room and hard techno on Pyramid nights. Ushuaïa is the best open-air daytime/sunset experience. Each club serves a different mood.
Top-tier DJs can earn extraordinary sums from residencies. Calvin Harris reportedly earned $400,000+ per show at Hakkasan/XS in Las Vegas. Tiësto and Marshmello are estimated at $200,000–$350,000 per Vegas show. Ibiza residencies pay less in direct fees (typically $50,000–$150,000 per show for top names) but are crucial for brand visibility and cultural credibility. Many DJs view Ibiza as a loss-leader that drives their global touring fees higher.
Berghain is famous for its strict door policy. There is no guest list, no VIP system, and no guaranteed entry — even for celebrities. The legendary bouncer Sven Marquardt and his team select who enters based on criteria that are intentionally opaque. Tips: go late (after 2 AM), dress in dark/understated clothing, go in small groups or alone, don't be on your phone in line, and don't try too hard. The rejection rate is estimated at 50% or higher on busy nights. See our Berghain guide for more details.
